French 1940s Louis XVI Style Marble Top Mahogany Enfilade
An exceptional 1940s Louis XVI style enfilade from France. The enfilade has a white marble top that has turreted corners that match and fit perfectly with the turreted corners found on the antique's body. The top is in exceptional antique condition and free from any major scratches, stains, or blemishes. The enfilade is composed of four drawers that are set above four lockable doors. The doors close before two separate cavities that each have a single fixed shelf. Both the drawers and doors are trimmed in brass and have brass escutcheons. The turreted front pilaster corners are fluted and terminate in tapered, turned legs with brass sabots.
