French 19th Century Cherry Confiturier
A great little confiturier constructed using solid cherry from 19th century France. The richly colored cherry shows its age marvelously, as it bears a warm and welcoming patina. Originally used to store jams and jellies, today this confiturier would make a perfect bedside cabinet. The piece has a single drawer with brass knob above its door that conceals an interior cavity outfitted with a single shelf. This door has a working lock, brass shield escutcheon, and is hung on hidden hinges.
