French Late 19th Century Louis XVI Style Mahogany Enfilade with Marble Top
A striking marble top Louis XVI style mahogany four door enfilade from 1890s France. The enfilade is topped with its original shaped marble top, which is in fantastic antique condition. The marble is black with white and gold veins creating a tessellated appearance. The antique piece has four lockable drawers that are set above four lockable doors, all of which have decorative brass trim. The doors are separated by fluted pilasters and the corners are canted with fluted details. Concealed behind the doors, the body contains three separate interior storage cavities, each outfitted with a single fixed shelf. The doors and drawers are embellished with brass hardware with tied ribbon and garland motifs. The feet are linear, tapered and capped in brass.
